  • AHA Chain of Survival: Explains the BLS components of the AHA Chain of Survival.
  • AED Use: Offers training in the early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Effective Ventilations: Demonstrates techniques for providing effective ventilation with a barrier device.
  • Team Dynamics: Emphasizes the importance of teamwork in multi-rescuer resuscitation and how to be an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR.
  • Relief of Choking: Details procedures for relieving foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults and infants.
  • Learning Options:
  • Full Classroom Course: Traditional, instructor-led classroom learning.
  • Blended Learning: A mix of online educational materials and interactive, hands-on training sessions.

Certification:

  • Upon successful completion of the course, participants are awarded a BLS Course Completion Card, which remains valid for two years.
